X Factor judge Tulisa: Cheryl Cole is a great person to look up to

N-Dubz star Tulisa loves her new X Factor gig

After losing her spot on the US X Factor panel, Cheryl Cole could probably use some love.

And who better to dish it out than her UK replacement judge, N-Dubz's Tulisa Contostavlos?

Tulisa, 22, who's joined Gary Barlow, 40, Kelly Rowland, 30, and Louis Walsh, 58, on this year's UK X Factor team, has nothing but nice things to say about the Geordie singer.

'I don't feel like I'm stepping into anyone's shoes because I could never be Cheryl,' says Tulisa.

'She's a great person to look up to.'

While Cheryl, 27, remains in hiding to rethink her career, Tulisa is enjoying the British auditions.

And it seems she's found a drinking buddy in fellow panelist Gary.

'Had an amazing day at the Glasgow auditions,' Tulisa Tweeted.

'Thanks for all the twitter support guys, me & G r heading to the bar 4 a cheeky 1 then bed ;) x'
