Jessica Simpson has hired her younger sibling Ashlee to help create fashions for the tweens.

Jessica Simpson's billion-dollar apparel line is becoming a sister act.

The singer-turned-entrepreneur has asked her younger sibling Ashlee to help create fashions for the tween set, reports Women's Wear Daily.

The younger Simpson, who recently completed a stint on "Melrose Place," will be on hand to bring a rock 'n' roll sensibility to the line of kids wear.

"She brings a savvy rocker edge that defines today's tweens," older sister Jessica Simpson told WWD.

The kids' fashion line will be available at Lord & Taylor and Macy's.

Graphic T-shirts will cost around $8.50 while a faux-leather jacket will run parents about $22.

"My goal as co-creative director will be to design clothes that will help inspire young girls to express their personalities and creativity through fashion," she told WWD.

Ashlee Simpson recently split from her rocker husband, Fall Out Boy's Pete Wentz. She is the mother of a 2-year-old son, Bronx.
