The rapper, whose real name is William Jonathan Drayton, Jr., was arrested Friday night in Las Vegas after getting pulled over for a routine traffic violation, according to TMZ.com.
When officers ran his name in the system, they learned he had four warrants out for his arrest stemming from several run-ins with the law.
Flav apparently never settled up with the court in four separate automobile-related offenses, including driving without proof of insurance, a parking violation and two cases of driving without a license.
According to the gossip site, the 52-year-old performer was taken to a nearby jail, where he was booked and posed for a new mug shot. He was eventually released.
This is the latest string of misfortunes for the Public Enemy rapper, who recently had to pull his name from Flav's Fried Chicken in Clinton, Iowa, claiming his business partner "mismanaged" the fast-food joint.
