Security was high for the royal wedding today ... $35 million high.
Reportedly, 5,000 police officers (or Bobbies, as the Brits call them) along with Army, Navy and Air Force personnel were on hand at the event for security. Most were stationed along the wedding route.
And those thousands of people were hired for a $35 million total price tag.
The police also conducted raids in the days before the wedding on nearby homes in a pre-emptive strike. They arrested seven protesters and took away a guillotine from one. Scary!
The officers also moved protesters from the front of the Houses of Parliament.
See what incident made police especially scared of problems after the jump.
Prince Charles and Camilla's car came under attack by protesters in an anti-capitalist march earlier this year, meaning the royal family didn't want to take any chances.
Luckily, nothing spoiled Kate and William's big day!
