A Los Angeles judge has decided Lindsay Lohan violated the terms of her probation after she was charged with the theft of a necklace.� Lindsay will now have to stand trial in June 2011 and was sent to jail for four months.
Actress Lindsay Lohan is accused of stealing a $2,500 from California store Kamofie & Co. in January, but has insisted she is innocent.
The judge sentenced the actress to 120 days in jail as well as 480 hours of community service.
Lohan?s lawyer vowed to appeal her client?s sentence, and Lohan was expected to be freed on $75,000 bail.
Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Stephanie Sautner actually reduced the initial felony grand theft charge to a misdemeanor.
The judge sentenced Lindsay to 120 days in jail.
Lohan will perform community service at a women?s center as well as at the Los Angeles morgue.
