LOS ANGELES - A man suffered a head wound today in a shooting in the Jefferson Park area of Los Angeles, police said.

The shooting occurred near a liquor store in the 2800 block of Jefferson Boulevard at 12:45 a.m., possibly as the result of a dispute, said Sgt. Robin Brown of the Los Angeles Police Department's Southwest Station.
