Actor Josh Duhamel has been put in charge of raising funds to help those affected by floods in his hometown of Minot, North Dakota.
Thousands of locals have been evacuated due to rising water levels, which have caused extensive damage across the region.
The Transformers star's sister has been left homeless by the floods, and he has now been named honorary chairman of a fund set up to help those left without shelter.
Any money raised through the fund will be used for construction materials, mortgage aid and household items.
The actor is currently in Russia promoting the new Transformers sequel.
