Bristol Palin attends the Candie's Foundation 2011 benefit gala at Cipriani 42nd Street on May 3, 2011 in New York City.Looks like Sarah Palin shouldn't have been the only person on the 2008 campaign trail to catch some flak for her exorbitant spending.
Bristol Palin blasts Cindy McCain and her daughter, Meghan, for their appearance in her new memoir "Not Afraid of Life: My Journey So Far," which is set to hit stores Friday.
"I'd never seen people with so much Louis Vuitton luggage, so many cell phones, and so many constant helpers to do hair and makeup," Palin writes, according to ABC News.
Palin said that she was shocked when Sen. John McCain's wife, who "looked like a queen" and held "herself like royalty," offered to be a godmother to her unborn baby.
"I had just met her and I wondered why she wanted any type of guardianship over my child," Palin adds.
The "Dancing With the Stars" vet had harsher words for Meghan McCain, claiming that McCain ignored the Palins when they first met.
"Every time we saw Meghan, she seemed to be constantly checking us out, comparing my family to hers and complaining," she writes. "Oh the complaining."
This is not the first time the two GOP daughters have butted heads.
McCain said that it was difficult to share the campaign spotlight with Palin in an appearance on the "Daily Show" in 2010 to promote her own memoir, "Dirty Sexy Politics."
"When there's a pregnant teen there, it does a little bit to your self esteem," McCain told host Jon Stewart.
