Jessica Simpson's wedding gown won't be a Jessica Simpson Collection dress, she said.

Jessica Simpson has declared that she's helping to design her own wedding dress ? but did she snub her own billion dollar clothing line in the process?

The 30-year-old starlet told Extra that while she's hard at work designing her gown for her upcoming nuptuals to former NFL player Eric Johnson, "It won't be like a Jessica Simpson Collection dress," said.

She said that she wants to have "major say" in how the dress will look on the big day but didn't name the designer.

Simpson shouldn't knock her apparel empire. Women's Wear Daily reports that her line of trendy shoes, bags, dresses and tops are worth a staggering $1 billion.

She told the reporteer said that while no wedding date has been set, she confirmed that "it will be by the end of the year."
