Adele's latest album 21 is a huge success
Adele has had to cancel a number of US tour dates because she's fallen ill with laryngitis.
'I've been told to cancel tonight's show in Minneapolis because my voice has gone,' Adele, 23, wrote on her blog when she first felt a bit wobbly.
'I hate to cancel especially at such short notice. I am truly devastated, I'm here in the city and tried to do soundcheck at the venue but if I push through it tonight, it'll take me longer to get better and more shows may need cancelling. Please forgive me!'
Adele has now also postponed shows in Salt Lake City, Vancouver, Seattle and Portland.
But she'll be back on the road asap. After the success of second album 21, the Londoner is tipped to be a huge success in America.
Glee star Matthew Morrison has already fallen for her.
'I love Adele,' says Matthew, 32..
'I don't know if she's an actress but I'd love to hear her music on Glee.'
'It would be my extreme honour to work with her. I think her voice is from another planet. She's so amazing.'
