Providence Holy Cross and Providence Saint Joseph Medical centers: The San Fernando Valley facilities were named among the top 10 hospitals for quality surgical outcomes by the Southern California Patient Safety Collaborative. The collaborative of more than 100 hospitals is funded by Anthem Blue Cross. Providence Holy Cross also received a Prospector Award from the California Awards for Performance Excellence, which recognizes superior performance in key business areas.
